Tennille Wilson
Counselor, LCMHC
Tennille Wilson, LCMHC, has counseling experience working with diverse populations in several settings, including the university system and private practice. Within the university, she worked as a career counselor and licensed mental health counselor. Much of her private practice experience has been with both civilians and veterans seeking relief from symptoms of trauma, leading her to be trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a psychotherapy treatment designed to reduce distress associated with past traumatic experiences. As a counselor and a Christian, she sees counseling as an opportunity to proclaim good news, to comfort those who mourn, and to help others exchange their ashes for beauty, their mourning for joy, and their despair for praise using evidence-based practices with biblical truth.
