Elizabeth Boorsma has been a graduate student at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary since 2020 where she is studying to receive her Masters in Christian Marital, Family, and Individual Counseling. After graduating with her undergraduate degree in International Studies from NC State, she began her career in law enforcement where she grew a deeper passion and desire to serve those hurting and walking through difficult situations.

Elizabeth is passionate about using the hope of the Gospel, the wisdom of God’s word and the latest therapy methods to give her clients balanced and holistic care. Her desire is that this will lead to not only relief from the symptoms they are experiencing, but will also get to the root of their struggles so they may experience life lasting heart transformation. She has experience in treating issues related to anxiety, grief, adjustment issues and much more.

Elizabeth and her husband live in Wake Forest, NC with their two dogs Charlotte and Lily. When she is not working or studying, you can find Elizabeth spending time with friends and family, cuddling with her dogs or surfing Pinterest for her next house project.
