Counselor, LCSWA
Elayna Locklear, MSW, LCSWA, earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Master of Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke.

Prioritizing a person-centered approach, Elayna aims to create a welcoming and nonjudgmental space where clients feel seen, heard, and valued. She is passionate about walking alongside individuals and families as they navigate life’s challenges and move toward healing, hope, and personal growth.

Elayna has experience working in child and adolescent crisis intervention as well as serving clients who are facing mental and emotional challenges such as anxiety, depression, panic disorder, ADHD/ ADD, grief, life transitions, and traumatic experiences. Clinically, she draws from a variety of evidence-based practices to meet each client’s unique needs.

For clients seeking faith-based counseling, Elayna offers therapy through a biblical lens, inviting the hope of Jesus Christ into the healing process. She believes in the transformative power of God’s love, and is honored to incorporate prayer, Scripture, and biblical principles into the counseling experience for clients who desire to do so.

Elayna currently resides in Robeson County alongside her husband, RJ, and baby boy Ezra James. In her free time, she enjoys running, journaling, listening to music, and spending time outside on her porch with a good iced coffee in hand.
