Cassie Locklear is an American Indian and lifelong native of NC. She is a double alumna of the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, where she received her MAEd. in clinical mental health counseling and has been a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor for the past 5 years. Her specialty is the young adult population, but she has worked in a variety of settings to include higher education, community mental health, group homes, and private practice.

Cassie has worked with clients from all walks of life, backgrounds and ethnicities. Cassie states that pursuing her own counseling at a difficult time changed her life, which is why she chose this profession. She has a passion to help others experience the same thing she did in their counseling experience.
